I will be exhibiting @ Open Art Space, Sentinel Gallery in Wivenhoe, from 15th-21st May 2020 and thought it would be great to run a few adult workshops during my show. Each workshop will run on a maximum of six people, allowing for each participant to explore creatively and gain as much as possible from the experience. Each session is to be fun and rewarding for all, in great surroundings!
Silk Painting:
Date: Sunday 17th May / Time: 10:30 – 2pm / Cost: £45
Explore the wonders of drawing and painting on Silk! You’ll start by experimenting with different techniques, through to then designing your own piece of art. This will then be painted onto your finished piece of silk to take away....even frame it!

Geli Printing:
Date: Monday 18th May / Time: 10:30 – 2pm / Cost: £45
A really enjoyable way to print without a printing press! No experience is needed, just your enthusiasm and a desire to learn! Using lots of found, recyclable items to print with, no drawing skills needed here, to create colourful, textured images. Lots of experimenting with shapes and layers, it’s great fun! Ending up with some amazing artwork on both paper and canvas to take homeand..... enjoy
Block Printing:
Date: Tuesday 19th May/ Time: 10:30 – 2pm/Cost: £45
Using a traditional method of textile printing, known as Block printing, you’ll create your own original ideas. No previous experience is needed, just your desire to have a go! We shall be creating patterns and images with lots of different printing blocks in all shapes and sizes. Mostly, your design will be in black and white, to give a strong graphic image. Then you’ll proceed onto fabric by printing your own truly unique design onto your Tote bag......to take shopping!
