Elly Robinson
After training at St. Martin's, Elly worked as a freelance illustrator for 12 years. Moving to Sudbury, she joined Gainsborough's House Print Workshop and discovered she enjoyed organising their exhibitions. It seemed inevitable that this would lead her to run her own gallery, Printworks, specialising in original prints, which she did for ten years in Colchester. Since then she has organised many exhibitions in Colchester, Wivenhoe and Sudbury and now spends her time writing. |
Jane Lewis
Jane has an honours degree in Fine Arts from UCW Aberystwyth and after working for some years in publishing she now paints full time from her home in Suffolk. Jane's paintings are loosely based on Suffolk landscape and East Anglian coast, they are layered and gestural to form a emotional response to a place. She has exhibited abroad and widely throughout the UK. For further information see www.janelewisart.co.uk |
Maxine Northwood
Maxine studied at Colchester School of Art and further at Kingston College of Art during the late sixties. Throughout her career she has worked in diverse areas of art and design, from bashing out fashion jewellery to archaeological illustration to continuing her own practice in 2D and 3D art which has been exhibited throughout the gallery world. Maxine has taught all ages and in all sorts of places. She currently teaches small groups from the intimacy of her own studio. |
