John Harvey- I was born in 1941 in a mining village in Warwickshire. At 16 I started at Nuneaton School of Art and a year later passed on to Coventry College of Art, where I completed a four year degree course in graphics. I spent thirty years teaching in secondary and adult education. In 1990 my wife and myself started our own art business selling our work both nationally and internationally.

Personal Perspectives bring together the work of three artists who work offers different insights into the landscape around us.
Pandora is based in Bury St Edmunds. Her delicate oil painting of intimate landscapes evokes a strong sense of place. Pandora works directly from the nature, drawing and sketching to capture a moment in time and a recognising the powerful force of the landscape.
James’s work captures the local landscape with dramatic brushstrokes and vibrant colour, giving both a sense of place and abstraction. Work includes sketches of scenes of Wivenhoe and East Anglia landscapes.
Fiona’s natural sculptural pieces display a true sense of place…..‘The materials I use for artwork are found in the waterways of North East Essex, mostly driftwood and bits of broken boats, washers and rusty metal.'
